As a child, Fotini DeZutti convinced her mother to sign her up for a monthly book club. She read and reread every book she could get her hands on, especially the colorfully illustrated classics. As a nanny and lifestyle assistant for over 25 years, she’s read countless books to children of all ages, including Jennine’s sons. She knows first hand what great books look and sound like. This relevant experience made for an invaluable contribution to the writing and production of this book.
Richard Cardona has worked with Jennine for years on a variety of design projects for her marketing business. Admired for his incredible artistry, she couldn’t imagine anyone but Richard illustrating her first children’s book. Richard is an artist living and working in Southern New Jersey (Near Philadelphia). He received his Masters of Fine Art from Tyler School of Art at Temple University in Philadelphia. Richard has exhibited his paintings and prints at fine art galleries across the United States as well as in Italy. Richard is also the Creative Director and owner at Hypno (hypnodesign.com), a boutique marketing and design firm with his wife and partner Alison.
